Nonconformance Reporting (NCR)

API works diligently to identify qualified suppliers of products and services used in the oil and natural gas industry. Organizations around the world rely on API’s recognition of these suppliers when making purchasing decisions. When purchasers find API certified suppliers not in compliance with the applicable standards, API wants to know. This website is designed to allow purchasers to report suppliers of nonconforming products and services. First, identify the API ‘Specification’ or management system standard. If there are multiple nonconformances, please send separate NCR reports for each. Without identifying the API specification or management system standard, you cannot continue to the next question. Second, for API product specifications, please identify the ‘Product’ within the API specification that is nonconforming. For management system standards, a “placeholder” product will be indicated. Third, API provides a list of ‘Certified suppliers’ to choose from. The supplier should be listed here. If not, please identify the supplier in the next field.
